TOUCH SCREEN AND FILM CASE STUDY

The Youth Offenders Service (YOS) commissioned the gang to make a series of films, presented by young people, aimed at young people, that illustrate how such positive role models, can be high achievers and take a leading individual role, in the use of local facilities and services, on behalf of the community.

The films allowed participants to recognise thier own achievements and value to the community as role models for other young people. Speaking openly about how such activities have stopped them from offending and helped them to lead others, including family members, from particpating in crime and violence.

Following the successful completion of these films YOS commissioned us to develop and create an Interactive Touch Screen System, specifically designed to allow social workers to use mutli-media and a 'User Participation Survey' as well as the films as a tool for positive change.

We are currently working closely with Islington local authority, to develop the Touch Screen pilot, with a view to possible roll-out to other YOS and community services.

This year we anticipate the offical launch of the 'i-Touch TV' channel, fully branded and delivered by Learning Curve Media CIC.
